Currently we only accept payments through PayPal, which means we can take payments via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Switch, Solo, Visa Delta and Visa Electron. Note: You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay with PayPal. What formats do you sell? We sell our titles in ePub format. If you own a Kindle, you should check out the Amazon Kindle store for our books. What about DRM? Books bought from this website are sold DRM-free. Books bought from other online retailers may vary - we do not ask for DRM to be imposed on any of our titles, though some stores add it by default. Aren't you concerned about piracy? Yes, of course we are. We'd much rather people bought our books so we can continue to pay our authors, and continue to invest in new authors - we just believe that the best way to counter piracy is to offer our titles in the right format, at the right price, rather than impose restrictions. What are "Nano Editions"? Angry Robot Nano Editions are short stories written by Angry Robot novelists. Nano Editions are usually between 4,000 and 15,000 words in length, but where the stories are shorter than about 4,000 words, we've included additional stories for added value. Why do I have to create an account in order to buy your eBooks? It's easy to misplace files, and sometimes people change devices. We ask that you create an account when you buy your first eBook so that should you ever lose your file, you can download it again by logging into your account history. There is no limit to the number of times you can download your file. I've just bought my eBook(s) - how do I download it/them? Simple - log into your account, click on "Order Information", then click on the Order Number (the latest order will be at the top of the list), and click where it says Download. The file will then download in a zip file. Unzip it to access your ePub. If you don't know how to load it onto your eReader, click on the "Your eReader" tab at the top of this page. HELP! My file doesn't work! We're finding that some browser / OS configurations are renaming the file when unzipping, and removing the .epub after the filename. You should find that simply renaming it after unzipping (by adding .epub) solves the problem. Otherwise, drop us an email at file@angryrobotbooks.com, along with your purchase number, and we'll email you the file(s). The pricing in your store is a few cents different to the price I've been charged through PayPal. Why is this? All our novel-length eBooks are sold at £4.49 (UK Sterling). Depending on your setup, and where you live, you may see the prices in US dollars. These prices are an approximate real-time conversion using international exchange rates. Your bank, or PayPal might use a slightly different rate to convert. If you would prefer to be charged an exact dollar amount, your best course of action is to buy our eBooks from another international eBook retailer (see below) Where else can I buy your eBooks? You can buy them from iBookstore, Amazon, Waterstones, Barnes and Noble and Random House. I've bought an Angry Robot Gift Voucher. How do I send it to someone else? Assuming you have successfully purchased the voucher (i.e. received your purchase confirmation email): 1. Click 'Your Account', then 'Order Information', then the 'PO' number link for the order you have just placed.
